Privacy
Effective 23 July 2026
Data we store
For registered users, we store the name and email you provide, a one-way password hash, bookmarks, last-read position, and any community submission you choose to send. Content-concern reports are stored privately with the details you submit, your account reference when signed in, or an optional contact email when submitted anonymously. We also keep limited security and moderation audit logs.
How it is used
Account data exists to sign you in and sync your private reading journey. Community submissions are reviewed before publication. Concern reports and reviewer decisions remain private and are used to investigate content integrity. We do not sell personal data or reading history.
AI requests
The guide sends a request to OpenAI only when a model is explicitly configured and approved candidates exist. The integration is designed for routing—not theological authorship. Do not submit private or sensitive information.
Your choices
You may use the reader without an account and keep progress only in your browser. Account deletion and data export controls will be added before broader public promotion; until then, contact privacy@quraanjourney.com.
