Nine things, done carefully.
Plenty of sites hold the Qur’an. Fewer are quiet. This one is built so the text comes first, the page stays uncluttered, and nothing asks you to sign up before you can read a single word.

The full Qur’an in clear Arabic. Read it sūrah by sūrah, or open the Muṣḥaf and turn pages exactly as they appear in the printed copy — all 604 of them.

Tap any āyah to mark where you stopped, and to keep the āyāt you return to. Both are saved against your account rather than one browser, so your place and your bookmarks follow you from phone to desk.

Choose from twelve well-known reciters and press Listen. The words light up as they are recited, so you can follow with your eyes or recite along. When a page ends, the next begins on its own.

Finish the Qur’an by a date you choose, hold a daily portion, or keep a weekly reading such as Sūrat al-Kahf every Friday. Twenty-seven goals in all — pick one and today’s portion is worked out from what is left and the days you actually read.

The text is not ours to change.
The Arabic comes from a verified source and is shown exactly as it is. We do not edit it, paraphrase it, or generate it.
We show our sources.
Where an article cites the Qur’an or a hadith, it names the chapter, verse and collection, so you can check it in a printed copy or with a teacher.
A page is not a teacher.
This site helps you read and begin. For rulings on your own circumstances, ask someone qualified — and we say so on the pages where it matters.

The Qur’an, the guides, prayer times, the Qibla — all of it works without signing up. An account adds three things and nothing else: your place, your bookmarks, and a reading goal.
Advertising stays out of the way.
Advertising keeps the site running, and it never interrupts the text: nothing before a sūrah, nothing between āyāt. Our advertising provider is never given your reading, your bookmarks or your account, and the measurement tag only loads if you allow it.
