Where our content comes from.

Plainly: the Qur’an text, each sūrah’s background, the hadith links, and the prayer times — and exactly where each one is sourced.

    The Qur’an text

    The Arabic is the Uthmani text — all 6,236 ayahs — imported verbatim and checked when the site is installed. We never ask AI to supply, complete, correct, or translate an ayah.

    Sūrah details

    Names, ayah counts, the Meccan or Medinan classification, and the revelation order come from a standard reference dataset. They are shown as plain facts.

    How each sūrah was revealed

    The background on a sūrah’s story page is a summary from a named source, shown right there on the page. It describes where and when the sūrah came down; we don’t invent exact dates.

    Hadith

    Hadith are linked out to Sunnah.com, where you can read the full narration and its grading. We don’t rewrite hadith text here.

    Prayer times

    Calculated by the AlAdhan service using the calculation method you choose. Your local mosque’s timetable always stays primary.

    City & country data

    Location suggestions come from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Nothing about your location is stored.
